About the position

The Weekend C-Store Clerk at Holiday River Country Cooperative is responsible for the daily operations of the convenience store and gas station, focusing on customer service and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. This part-time position involves various tasks including assisting customers, managing merchandise, operating registers, and food preparation, all while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Assist customers in finding and securing products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and countertops.
• Receive, verify, and store delivered merchandise.
• Unpack and stock shelves and coolers with merchandise.
• Clean registers, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the lot, including snow removal and ice management.
• Fill towel holders and replenish window washer fluid.
• Remove trash in a timely manner.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Operate lottery ticket registers and cash registers accurately.
• Cook food using various kitchen appliances and ensure food safety standards are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position with no specific experience required.
