About the position
The Weekend Caregiver position at SunCrest Companion Services involves providing in-home support and assistance to patients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and skin care.
- Transfer patients from bed to chair and to wheelchair, and assist with toileting needs.
- Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
- Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when business travel is required.
- Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home care preferred.
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Successful completion of seventy-five (75) hours of training, including sixteen (16) hours of clinical training within the first three months of employment.
