About the position

The Weekend Logistics Account Rep is responsible for ensuring effective communication and exceptional customer service during the weekend shift, working closely with various teams to manage logistics operations. This role involves coordinating with Customer Service Reps, Drivers, and Account Managers to maintain smooth operations and meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and act as a liaison between the customer, drivers, customer service, and internal operations.
• Manage shipments, accept tenders from applicable TMS, and build tenders into the internal TMS.
• Schedule all pick-up and delivery appointments and log information accurately throughout the workday.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer business needs timely and efficiently.
• Work closely with Account Managers to manage communication lines between all shifts.
• Help achieve maximum profitability levels for assigned accounts.
• Ensure that carriers hired comply with customer's policies, procedures, and service requirements.
• Hold Carrier Management team accountable on pricing based on market demands and utilize various external pricing and reporting tools.
• Accurately record data into internal systems such as TMS, Excel, and workflow checklists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of industry-specific experience with knowledge in LTL freight, 3PL, shipping, and supportive technologies (TMS, CMS, etc.).
• Strong computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
