About the position

The Weekend Machine Operator position involves performing manufacturing processes in RFID inlay/tag and embeddable RFID tag production and testing. The role requires mastering a specific area and becoming cross-trained in additional areas to meet production schedule demands, working primarily on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes in RFID inlay/tag production and testing.
• Master a specific area and become cross-trained in additional areas as needed.
• Assemble different RF components.
• Process small equipment components.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Operate, set up, and perform routine preventative maintenance on automated roll-to-roll manufacturing lines.
• Conduct testing to assure RF performance.
• Manually assemble parts and use fixtures for assembly.
• Solder and assemble components onto PCBs, including hand soldering and inspection.
• Perform Surface Mount (SMT) and placement of components onto PCBs.
• Operate reel-to-reel equipment, including setups and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Skilled in the use of a wide variety of tools and test equipment.
• Cleanroom experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with RFID technology.
• Capable of utilizing a microscope.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Superior organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in equipment setup, electronics, roll-to-roll manufacturing.
• Computer literate.
