About the position

The Weekend Onsite Liaison at the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ serves as a key support staff member for the Katz JCC, ensuring smooth operations during weekends. This role involves interacting with members, guests, and staff, providing assistance across various departments, and maintaining high operational standards within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a reliable schedule of predesigned weekend hours in support of the membership, fitness/wellness, and all programs' teams.
• Complete daily walkthroughs and facility checks to ensure high-level operations and report on outstanding issues.
• Provide support to onsite staff with frequent check-ins and ensure successful shift changeovers.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for facility or staffing issues, including safety incidents and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain working knowledge of membership team protocols and customer service interactions.
• Maintain working knowledge of fitness/wellness team protocols, including pool safety and fitness center policies.
• Share knowledge of JCC programs with members, guests, and staff.
• Provide end-of-weekend reports to supervisors noting any issues or needs.
• Attend weekend facility events and offer support to onsite staff as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors for issues requiring additional authority.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in customer service or operations role, or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to perform routine work with strong attention to detail.
• Growth mindset and ability to learn processes and policies quickly.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable and dependable work reporting required.
• Intermediate Level PC skills: Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.
