About the position

The Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) position at Fairmount Homes involves providing high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. This role requires working two 12-hour shifts on weekends and one 8-hour night shift on Fridays, focusing on geriatric and rehabilitative nursing. The RN will be responsible for supervising nursing services and ensuring the well-being of residents while adhering to the facility's mission of faith, family, and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents during weekend shifts.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with care standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in care planning and implementation for residents.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.

Requirements

• Current PA RN License is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in nursing administration or supervision in long-term care is required.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is required.
• Strong leadership and management skills are required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
