About the position

TERI Residential Services is dedicated to providing long-term living and housing solutions for adults with special needs, enabling them to thrive in a supportive environment. As a Weekend Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of our residents. Your responsibilities will include waking residents, assisting them in their daily routines, facilitating engaging program activities, and helping with meal preparation and consumption. This position is not just a job; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. At TERI, we believe that everyone deserves to lead a happy and fulfilling life, and we are committed to ensuring that our staff and the individuals we support come first. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are willing to join our team and help our residents thrive. While experience in this field is appreciated, we are open to training the right candidates. Our staff members are expected to show up with a positive attitude, treat others with respect and dignity, and value diversity. You will have the flexibility to choose your work schedule, whether it be morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts, and you will be working in a home-like environment rather than an institutional setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career while making a significant impact on the lives of others. In addition to a competitive hourly wage of $18-$19, we offer various benefits, including access to an on-site gym, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive wellness program. We also participate in the CalGrows Program, which allows you to earn additional income while developing your skills through free online training courses. Join us at TERI and become part of a team that values compassion, respect, and the well-being of both staff and residents.
