About the position

The Weekend RN Supervisor at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center is responsible for managing staffing needs and supervising nursing staff to ensure quality resident care during weekend shifts. This role emphasizes patient and family focus, teamwork, and the development of a supportive culture within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation of CHC guidelines.
• Maintain ongoing communications with physicians concerning resident care.
• Provide supervision/counseling as needed and facilitate problem solving and open communications with the nursing staff.
• Assist nursing personnel to act in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure effective interactions with patients and families.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directed.

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility (preferred).
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in nursing administration.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
