Weekend Soccer Instructor

About the position

Soccer Shots is a non-competitive, character-focused soccer program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. We are looking for part-time instructors who are passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soccer classes for children ages 2-8 years old.
• Engage and entertain a group of 10 or more children during soccer sessions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Communicate effectively with childcare staff, parents, and administrators.
• Transport necessary equipment to each session.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience working with children, especially ages 2-8.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a State Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting.
• Soccer experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in other sports.
• Outgoing and animated personality.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain patience.
