The Weekend Valet Cashier at UofM Hospital is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional hospitality services while managing cash transactions for valet services. The role is essential in securing vehicle keys and reconciling revenue accurately, contributing to the overall mission of Encore Service Group to blend healthcare and hospitality seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts ready to work.
- Wear badge at all times while on duty.
- Greet patients, guests, and hospital staff courteously, addressing them by name when possible.
- Assist patients and family members with general questions regarding the valet service and the hospital.
- Ensure customers receive timely service.
- Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times.
- Monitor cash transactions and keep detailed records of car volume and sales.
- Adhere to Encore Service Group uniform policy and maintain a professional appearance.
- Actively seek opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Dependable and trustworthy with a positive mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organized and assertive with a friendly demeanor.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
