The Weekend Warrior Caregiver position at The View at Johnson Creek is designed for compassionate individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors while working part-time on weekends. This role involves providing quality care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a supportive environment. Ideal for those with busy weekday schedules, caregivers will work 8-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday, contributing to a team that values both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
• Help residents with exercise and activities
• Perform ADLs according to residents' individualized service/care plan
• Comply with all federal state laws including Resident Rights
• Perform light housekeeping duties that residents can't complete on their own
• Provide an exceptional dining experience
• Communicate with residents in a kind, respectful, and gentle manner
• Report any unusual incidents or change of condition
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Effectively manage and prevent behaviors
• Medication administration
• Maintain training compliance
• Ability to work independently as well as being an effective part of a team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a caregiver
