Weight Loss Specialist / Sales Consultant

About the position

The Weight Loss Specialist (WLS) at Options Medical Weight Loss is a pivotal role focused on patient acquisition and program sales. This position is designed to provide exceptional experiences for new patients while supporting the clinic's operations. The WLS is responsible for educating patients about various weight loss programs, following up on leads, and ensuring a seamless integration of marketing and clinic roles to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient consultations, providing education and information on the multitude of programs offered.
• Responsible for follow-up on all leads, setting patient appointments and updating the EMR ensuring a final disposition is made on each potential patient inquiry.
• Proficient in all OMWL Prescription and non-Prescription patient programs.
• Serve as a role model to the team, coaching and developing staff.
• Create new patient leads by generating relationships with outside referral resources.
• Cross-trained as a Weight Loss Counselor and conducts counseling sessions as needed/directed.
• Cross-trained as a Patient Coordinator and able to cover front desk as needed/directed.
• Become fully trained and then required to administer intramuscular injections to patients.
• Become fully trained and then educate patients to self-administer subcutaneous injections.
• Assist with clinic inventory as needed.
• Adhere to all HIPAA and OSHA protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two years in consultative sales and/or sales management role.
• Experience within the weight loss, nutrition, fitness, med spa or related industry.
• Inventory and budget management experience (preferred).
• Experience with setting and reaching quotas (required).
• Knowledge in nutrition, health, and dieting (recommended).
• EMR experience preferred.
