About the position

The Welcome Desk Receptionist at David's Bridal is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support at the welcome desk, cash wrap, and throughout the store. This part-time role involves engaging with customers both in-person and virtually, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining store standards. The position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, adapting style to suit customer needs.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a Five-Star Customer Service experience.
• Maintain service vows including being prepared and welcoming to all customers.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at one time.
• Proactively address customer concerns and know when to escalate issues.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to customers.
• Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience.
• Respond promptly to customer questions providing product and service information.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction.
• Engage in inventory management procedures and support cash wrap processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
