About the position

The Welcome Experience Coordinator - Onboarding Specialist at Fast Pace Health is responsible for facilitating a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary support and information to integrate into the company effectively. This role emphasizes communication, teamwork, and a commitment to enhancing the employee experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The coordinator will engage with new employees, manage onboarding logistics, and promote a positive workplace culture while adhering to compliance and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to applicant and new hire inquiries in a professional and timely manner regarding all aspects of the welcome process.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process through the system utilized for processing new hires, including welcome communication, scheduling drug tests, and data entry into the HRIS.
  • Engage with new employees before their start date and follow the pre-start checklist.
  • Confirm vaccination status and ensure all paperwork, drug tests, and background checks are complete.
  • Complete I-9 and E-Verify processes for compliance once an employee starts.
  • Follow up with employees for BLS/CPR card, TB Test, and Hep B Shot if applicable.
  • Provide detailed information on company operations, structure, history, benefits, and job responsibilities to inquiries.
  • Maintain confidential information and document information for recruiting and payroll purposes.
  • Schedule training for new hires and support the clinical training team by managing the overflow of new hires.
  • Leverage collaborative technology to enhance onboarding and scheduling processes.
  • Suggest process improvements for efficiency while maintaining a strong employee experience.
  • Support employee engagement activities in collaboration with the HR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or Marketing is strongly preferred.
  • At least one year of Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • CPR and BLS Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies.
  • Marketing experience.
