About the position

Aerotek is seeking a 1st shift welder for full-time, long-term work in the Williamsport/Muncy area. The role focuses on quality welds and attention to detail while maintaining a positive company culture. Welders will primarily perform welding tasks but should also be willing to assist in other areas of the shop as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks as required (set up, operate, and maintain weld machine)
• Read and interpret blueprints for proper fabrication, welding and installation of parts or subassemblies
• Utilize power and fabrication tools for the creation and installation of various components as needed
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the truck meets customer specifications
• Maintain clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Experience with MIG welding in a production or industrial setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform various job duties
• Fabrication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Background in welding and mechanical work
• Experience in the auto/diesel field is a plus
• Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing environment
