About the position
Join Henderson Products Upfit Center, located at 916 S. 10th Street, Manchester IA. We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture, and upfit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks, specializing in snow and ice control, sold through independent dealers and direct to government agencies. We have openings for people in our Heavy work bays with experience in Mig Welding. You will be responsible for Heavy bay activity, which includes welding, fabrication, and assembly work in the installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds. Diagnostic and repair work may also be included in these responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform Mig welding on heavy-duty work trucks
- Fabricate and assemble equipment for truck builds
- Conduct diagnostic and repair work as needed
- Read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform shop math as required
Requirements
- Experience in Mig welding
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Experience in fabrication and assembly work
- Ability to perform shop math
- Physical ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
