About the position

As a Welder at Aerotek, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by setting up, assembling, and welding products according to specific work orders, blueprints, and jigs. Your responsibilities will include securely positioning component parts using bolts, clamps, or tack welds, ensuring that all parts are correctly aligned and ready for welding. A significant aspect of your role will involve sourcing the necessary parts to meet production needs, which requires a keen understanding of the materials and components involved in the welding process. In addition to the technical skills required for welding, you will be responsible for performing visual inspections of finished products. This is essential to ensure that the welds are clean and that no spots have been missed, which is critical for maintaining the quality standards of our products. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to work in various areas throughout the day, depending on the workflow and production demands. The work week runs from Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 2 pm, with scheduled breaks for lunch and afternoon rest.
