About the position
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Welding position in Redding, CA. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other materials using appropriate welding techniques. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with various materials to ensure high-quality results. You will be expected to apply your skills in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. This position offers both day and night shifts, providing flexibility for candidates looking for part-time work with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Responsibilities
- Fabrication of metals and other material using proper welding techniques
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine appropriate welding process
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Steel toe boots required
