About the position

Pro Staff is seeking an experienced Welder for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Alexandria, MN. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of welding experience or a technical college degree. The position offers competitive pay starting at $23+/hr and includes a range of benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, be able to pass a welding test, and possess skills in blueprint analysis and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal and steel structures
• Operate welders, cutters, and measuring tools
• Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance
• Set up welding machines and interpret welding symbols
• Perform miscellaneous housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of welding experience
• Technical college degree in welding or related field
• Proficiency in inspection tools
• Ability to analyze blueprints/drawings
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with architectural steel products
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
