Responsibilities
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, performing welding tasks in flat, vertical fillet, and lap joints of 7 Ga. to 5/16" metal.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assemble parts accurately.
- Ensure welds meet specifications through visual inspection and compliance checks.
- Maintain a safe work environment and a clean workspace.
- Work independently and coordinate with team members to improve processes.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of welding experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and linear measuring devices.
- AWS Certified Welder or able to pass in-house welding tests.
- Physical ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per hour.
