About the position

As a Well-Being/Benefits Coordinator at NFP, you will immerse yourself in the benefits and well-being industries, gaining valuable insights and experience. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive organization. You will work closely with the Well-Being and Account Teams to address client needs, which will include coordinating events, conducting research, and developing communication campaigns. This position is full-time and hybrid, allowing for flexibility while also requiring periodic in-person client support in the greater Atlanta area. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and coordinating client health fairs, biometric screening events, and other wellness-related initiatives. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients and vendor contacts, attending meetings and calls, and potentially taking an active role in client interactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing client communications, providing project status updates, and assisting the Well-Being and Account Teams in preparing for client meetings by reviewing presentations and ensuring all materials are accurate and well-formatted. You will also create employee interest surveys and leadership surveys to support program design and strategy, conduct research on various wellness topics, and summarize findings for the Well-Being Team. This role requires you to liaise between clients and vendors, attend relevant seminars and classes, and maintain your Life & Health License. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan client health fairs, biometric screening events, and other wellness-related events.
  • Gain exposure to clients and carrier/vendor contacts; attend meetings and calls, and may take an active role with some clients.
  • Develop client communications.
  • Provide project status updates to all relevant stakeholders and see projects through to completion.
  • Assist Well-Being and Account Teams in their preparation for client meetings by reviewing presentations for grammar, verification of rates and benefits, and ensuring formatting is appropriate.
  • Create employee interest surveys and leadership surveys to support the Well-Being and Account Teams in program design and strategy.
  • Conduct research on various wellness topics and provide summaries to the Well-Being Team.
  • Liaise between clients and vendors.
  • Attend seminars and classes related to the department and to maintain L&H License.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in Employee Benefits and/or Well-Being.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of well-being, benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products, and services preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs.
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills, including strong aptitude for organization and prioritization.
  • Diligent follow-up skills.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Strong customer/client support skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to assist and maintain good working relationships at all levels across the organization.
