About the position
The Health & Wellness Director at Brookdale Palma Sola is a clinical leadership role responsible for managing the overall operation of the clinical team in an Assisted Living community. The position focuses on providing high-quality care and services to residents while building relationships with families, physicians, and healthcare providers. The Director will lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring that residents' healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day clinical services of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity while providing quality care as their healthcare needs change.
- Supervise and provide leadership and coaching to licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.
- Lead additional clinical leadership team members, if applicable.
Requirements
- Valid LPN or RN nursing license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a clinical leadership role preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Long Term Care or Assisted Living community is preferred.
