About the position
The Wellness Director at Oaks at Gracemont is responsible for overseeing the care of residents in an assisted living and memory care community. This management role involves supervising staff, providing training, and ensuring compliance with health regulations while promoting the health and wellness of residents. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a passion for working with seniors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the care of residents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Supervise and train resident care employees.
- Conduct regular visits and assessments of residents to promote their health and wellness.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to meet residents' needs.
- Foster a positive labor/management relationship through open communication.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Current valid South Carolina LPN or RN license.
- CPR certification required.
- At least one year of experience working with residents in a long-term care setting.
- Ability to serve on an on-call rotation.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
Nice-to-haves
- Supervisory experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
- Experience in assisted living is preferred.
