About the position

The General Manager at Wendy's is responsible for leading a single restaurant, focusing on driving sales, achieving performance goals, and developing teams. This role involves ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company standards while managing costs and employee performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the restaurant management team to meet sales and budget goals
  • Monitor tasks performed by employees to ensure compliance with Quality, Service, & Cleanliness programs
  • Ensure proper training and compliance
  • Manage food, labor, and paper costs as well as other controllable expenses
  • Make decisions regarding the hiring and termination of employees
  • Attend meetings requested by the District Manager or Area Director
  • Develop restaurant operation skills and grow within the organization

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience, preferably within quick service restaurants
  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform all duties of restaurant staff
  • At least 18 years of age
