About the position
The Sales and Marketing Support role is designed to assist in achieving regional sales goals through effective salesmanship and marketing strategies. This includes direct client engagement, proposal development, and participation in industry events to enhance the company's presence and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Perform sales support to consistently meet overall area sales goals.
- Make regular sales calls on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
- Make effective customer presentations, ensuring proposal pricing is accurate and technically correct.
- Conduct walk-throughs at customer sites and field visits as necessary.
- Implement area-marketing plans on a monthly basis.
- Assist Corporate needs in new service assessments, marketing research, and literature development.
- Engage in public relations activities to promote sales.
- Participate actively in trade shows and professional societies.
- Deliver effective presentations for the Company's Training Services and Speaker's Bureau.
- Contribute to the development of the area sales and marketing plan.
Requirements
- Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) with no experience, or
- Graduate of electrical technical school or equivalent with five years of similar work experience, or
- High school diploma or equivalent with eight years of similar work experience.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
