The primary function of the ERS Senior Sales Engineer will be to plan and execute sales and marketing efforts for the Service Center. This role encompasses territory sales and marketing activities that align with those of a Sales Engineer, utilizing all principles of effective salesmanship. Responsibilities include personal client visits, telephone selling, group selling, territory and account management, and active participation in technical and professional associations. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive proposals in collaboration with the Operations Department and corporate staff. In addition to sales responsibilities, a secondary function of this role is to mentor and develop other sales personnel. The Senior Sales Engineer will guide Associate Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Engineers, or Sales Engineers in technical aspects, sales skills, marketing functions, and other essential skills required for field sales. This mentorship will include assessing the initial skill level and technical expertise of new sales associates and providing recommendations for their training schedules. The position requires a strong focus on customer relationships, effective communication, and the ability to drive results.
