Western 11 Truck Driver | Salt Lake City, UT

About the position

Knight Transportation is looking for experienced truck drivers to run the Western 11 states out of the Salt Lake City, UT terminal. This position involves being out on the road for 7-10 days, followed by 2-3 days at home. Drivers will get the miles they need while being part of the most profitable and fastest growing truckload carrier in the country.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to deliver goods across the Western 11 states.
• Maintain a valid Class A license and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate logs of driving hours and distances.
• Ensure the truck is in good working condition and report any issues to maintenance.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license.
• 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years or 6 months of Class A experience within the last year.
• No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with dry van equipment.
• Familiarity with the Western 11 states route.
