About the position
This position involves assisting with Agronomic Pesticide educational activities in Pennsylvania, particularly in Mercer and Butler Counties. The role focuses on planning and coordinating educational events, presenting pesticide safety information, and supporting local agronomy initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning pesticide meetings and educational events.
- Prepare supplies and contact host locations for events.
- Market and coordinate local agronomy events.
- Prepare and present pesticide safety and integrated pest management information to farmers.
- Support the local Agronomy Educator with tasks outlined by the Field and Forage Crops Team.
- Report impact data of activities using CRM software systems.
- Communicate activities with the team and area managers.
- Complete required professional development and training.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel.
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
- Ability to present information effectively to groups.
- Experience in agronomy or related field preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CRM software systems.
- Knowledge of pesticide safety and integrated pest management.
