About the position

The Western Regional Wastewater Equipment Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of wastewater treatment equipment across the region. This role requires a strong focus on relationship building and onsite sales, with extensive travel to meet clients at wastewater treatment facilities. The successful candidate will leverage their technical knowledge and sales experience to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions, ultimately aiming to grow market share and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Travel to wastewater treatment plants to meet with operators, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Provide technical product information and solutions based on the needs of the client.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and territory management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in industrial or wastewater equipment sales.
  • Experience with onsite sales and client visits, ideally in a field requiring technical knowledge.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to various locations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.

  • Wastewater treatment sales: 5 years (Preferred)
