About the position
The Inside Sales Specialist position is a remote role based in South Florida, focusing on selling Mediterranean dips and spice blends. The role offers a base salary with bonus potential and requires about 25% travel for sales calls. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in food sales and will have the opportunity to transition into a management position as the client base grows.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sales calls to local and regional retail and food service areas.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the food production industry.
- Set processes and procedures for future sales specialists to follow.
- Work autonomously while receiving support as needed.
- Manage a growing team of sales specialists as the client base expands.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food sales, preferably in ingredient sales.
- Ability to work from home and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- A book of business in the food industry.
