About the position

The WGLT Student Visual Journalist is responsible for creating visual content for WGLT.org, social media, and promotional materials. This role involves working closely with the Newsroom under the supervision of the WGLT Digital Content Director and the Digital Producer, focusing on photo and video work, including shooting, editing, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Create visual content for WGLT.org and social media.
• Shoot and edit video and photo content under supervision.
• Distribute visual content across various platforms.

Requirements

• Experience with video production and editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

Nice-to-haves

• Comparable experience in video production may be acceptable.
