About the position

The Wholesale Assistant position at Maison Valentino is a temporary role designed to support the Wholesale team in managing business operations to enhance market share, achieve sales goals, and increase profitability. The role involves a mix of administrative, operational, and sales support tasks, requiring full-time availability in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Run shipping reports and track delivery flow on a consistent basis
  • Track and monitor sales to determine opportunities for re-orders/swaps to minimize end of season inventory
  • Develop and maintain line sheets, buy books, stock lists and all other division recaps
  • Manage sample requests for all advertising and in-store events/activities
  • Daily/Weekly communication with regional coordinators to coordinate in-store strategies for business improvement
  • Aiding in the creation of market binders
  • Assist with order entry process and collaborate with customer service team to ensure accuracy
  • Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years' experience in Wholesale environment preferred (previous internship experience)
  • Basic understanding of Wholesale principles
  • Strong retail math and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP
  • Critical thinking skills and strong relationship management
  • Strong public speaking, in addition to excellent interpersonal skills
