About the position

Wells Fargo's Wholesale Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to drive Program Planning and Execution, aiming to enhance customer service, business growth, and risk management. The role involves deploying new technologies, improving processes, and collaborating across various business functions to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute various programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Design and lead routines to maintain visibility and alignment to initiative/program status, risk items, and actions needed.
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.
  • Perform assessments through fact-finding and data analysis to develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the business group's functional area or products.
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive level leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive in an agile working environment.
  • Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Wholesale Banking products (Lending, Markets, Deposits, etc.).
  • Experience in areas related to wholesale client onboarding and servicing.
  • Demonstrated ability to transition existing non-agile teams to an agile and autonomous way of working.
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
