About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Ray-Ban at EssilorLuxottica is responsible for leading a team of sales consultants to achieve sales goals within the Independent Channel. This role focuses on developing business potential in the territory, enhancing brand awareness, and optimizing distribution points for Ray-Ban products. The manager will provide training, coaching, and facilitate communication between the sales team and corporate partners to ensure effective execution of promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales consultants to achieve sales goals in the Independent Channel.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to achieve top line growth and financial targets.
  • Set quarterly targets and mentor the team to reach sales and financial goals.
  • Co-travel with sales consultants to provide coaching and management support.
  • Ensure Sales Consultants maximize their call cycles and log visits effectively.
  • Prepare for consistent communication with the Sr. Brand Marketing director and brand team.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, providing feedback on product assortment and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales counterparts to deliver broader synergy programs.
  • Cascade overall portfolio strategy and messaging to the sales team.
  • Partner with the RSD on brand priorities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide weekly recaps of team coaching and co-traveling to the RSD.
  • Support the sales force in coordinating market events and brand activities.
  • Manage all aspects of sales team people management, including hiring and performance management.
  • Support training on the brand to customers through local events.
  • Attend local trade and industry events.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Sales/Business or similar preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in the optical industry.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
