As a member of our dynamic quality assurance team, you will be responsible for the functional and performance validation of WiFi and other wireless technologies on iOS and various exciting products. Your role will involve delivering a detailed connectivity user experience to our customers. You will craft test strategies using various methodologies, build test setups, and automate test frameworks and plans to ensure the highest quality in WiFi connectivity across our product line. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the overall user experience of Apple products.

Responsibilities

• Craft test strategies using various test methodologies.
• Build test setups for functional and performance validation.
• Automate test frameworks and test plans for WiFi connectivity.
• Ensure the best quality in WiFi connectivity for Apple products.
• Utilize tools such as Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers for debugging.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve issues and improve user experience.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies and practices.
• Experience in developing and executing test strategies with automation or manual testing.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably in Python.
• Experience with tools for Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffing and network protocol analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering meaningful customer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Entry-level engineers with a wireless background and scripting experience are welcome.
• Internship experience in the Wireless domain is a plus.
• WiFi Certification is a significant advantage.
