About the position

The Application Architect position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group is a fully remote role for Wisconsin residents, focused on the development and support of critical priority applications. The role involves working on high-priority development projects, including application architecture design, integration with third-party software, data conversion, and modifications to existing code. Candidates will be part of self-directed work teams and are expected to have a strong background in web services, system integration, and Agile Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application architecture for critical priority applications.
• Integrate applications with third-party software.
• Perform data conversion and modifications to existing code.
• Lead teams in planning and estimating projects.
• Establish governance of processes and best practices for application development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in application architecture design and development.
• Experience leading teams and guiding application architecture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Webforms and MVC web browser user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of technological trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience with multi-platform applications and ongoing support.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience with Blazor framework and MudBlazor components.
• Experience working in a government agency with a customized Agile development lifecycle.
• 6+ years of experience in a technical environment with a variety of technologies, including ASP.NET and microservices.
• Google Cloud experience preferred.
