About the position

The Widgets and Digital Reporting Associate Product Manager at FactSet will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for client experience workflows within the wealth management sector. This position focuses on enhancing user experience through collaboration across teams, conducting research, and defining product vision and roadmap to improve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with clients and prospects to gather feedback, interpret their needs, and identify gaps in the current product offering.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the competitive landscape.
  • Lead product discovery, market research, and validation initiatives to evaluate new features and enhancements.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to track and optimize product outcomes.
  • Shape the strategic vision, product roadmap, and lifecycle management for Widgets and Digital Reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all widget components, serving as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Provide clear prioritization and direction to the engineering team for issue resolution and feature development.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to define user requirements, set acceptance criteria, and prioritize features.
  • Deliver timely and constructive feedback to cross-functional team members.
  • Develop detailed specifications for web components, defining technical requirements and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX specialists and engineers to design, develop, and optimize web components.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to gather insights.
  • Verify data and data availability for new API integrations.
  • Debug and troubleshoot APIs and web components, identifying and resolving errors.
  • Test newly developed web components to ensure functionality and user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience in the financial industry and understanding wealth management workflows is preferred.
  • Proficient in prioritizing product enhancements based on customer feedback and business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • A keen interest in learning new technologies and understanding system integrations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with API integrations and web component testing.
