The Pennsylvania (PA) Game Commission is looking to hire a 1 year limited-term, Wildlife Technician to provide field support for the implementation of Bureau of Wildlife Management (BWM) and Region programs. Gain valuable experience and make a difference by joining our Northeast Region of the PA Game Commission!  DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Wildlife Technician, you will be providing field support for the implementation of Bureau of Wildlife Management (BWM) and Region programs. You will work as part of a fully functional wildlife management team with shared BWM program support among Wildlife Management Supervisor, Wildlife Biologist 1, Wildlife Technician, Bio-Aide, and intern positions to achieve the agency's goals and objectives. Work includes professional wildlife management duties including, but not limited to capturing, handling, marking, and monitoring birds and mammals, wildlife response to habitat management, and wildlife health monitoring. Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.    Work Schedule and Additional Information: Limited-term (1 year), Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Flex schedule. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from an Associate Degree Program in Wildlife Management; or Any combination of experience or training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.   Special Requirements: You must possess a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator's license.   Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
