About the position

The HR Talent Acquisition Specialist at Olin's Winchester location in Clayton, MO, plays a crucial role in the full talent acquisition cycle. This position is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and offering candidates for key roles within the organization. The specialist will work closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and hiring managers to ensure that the best talent is identified and recruited effectively. A significant focus of this role is to enhance the applicant flow and improve diversity outreach efforts, aligning with the Corporate Talent Acquisition and Compliance team. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining the applicant tracking system and ensuring that job files are updated in a timely manner. In addition to managing the recruiting lifecycle, the HR Talent Acquisition Specialist will build and maintain qualified and diverse candidate pipelines, ensuring long-term engagement with potential candidates. The role includes overseeing Affirmative Action data roll-up for external hires and internal competitive moves, as well as collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team for on-campus recruiting efforts. The specialist will also manage intern and co-op processes, ensuring effective communication and engagement with leaders in the organization. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for up to one day of remote work per week, and requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on the home location. The ideal candidate will possess strong client relationship skills and the ability to handle competing priorities efficiently, making them a visible representative of Olin in the talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to source and fill key roles with top talent.
  • Oversee the entire recruiting lifecycle with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Build qualified and diverse candidate pipelines with a focus on long-term engagement.
  • Ensure the applicant tracking system and job files are maintained correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Affirmative Action data roll-up for external hires and internal competitive moves.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team for on-campus recruiting efforts.
  • Manage assigned area intern/co-op processes and leader communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Organizational Development/Management, Employment Law, or a Business-related discipline.
  • 3+ years of related human resources generalist or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is strongly preferred.
  • Work experience with an OFCCP regulated employer and/or in-depth knowledge of OFCCP regulations is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and multi-task efficiently.
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license.
