About the position

The Member Services Representative III at Apple Federal Credit Union plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to credit union members. This position focuses on understanding member needs, providing personalized product recommendations, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The representative will engage in cross-selling products, addressing member inquiries, and supporting external business development events, all while contributing to a diverse and friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand member needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Cross-sell credit union products based on member needs and accurately process loan applications.
• Address member inquiries via face-to-face or telephone communication and investigate and resolve queries.
• Adhere to policies and complete required paperwork while documenting member activity in the system.
• Stay informed about products and policies, and support external business development events.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years' experience in lending or branch operations.
• High school diploma.
• Excellent positive member/customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong math skills and effective communication with members.
• Familiarity with loan documents, lending regulations, and credit union policies.
• Proficiency in Symitar for posting transactions and inquiries.
• Proficiency in L360 for loan application processing.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and function in a financial institution environment.
