About the position
The Wind Tunnel Test Engineer will be responsible for overseeing wind tunnel related projects, providing engineering guidance, and assisting operators and technicians with troubleshooting. This role requires collaboration with management and clients to ensure project success and adherence to client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Update project spreadsheet
- Track project status
- Assist with troubleshooting
- Communicate project changes to management and client
- Act as a technical consultant to operators
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering from an accredited engineering school
- Two (2) years of engineering experience OR a MS degree from an accredited engineering school preferred
- Technical understanding of data acquisition and instrumentation interface/communication
- Operational knowledge of instrumentation equipment related to test systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good collaboration skills, able to work with multiple people and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
- Expert with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills
- Positive attitude and strong desire to excel
