About the position

The position involves working as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, specifically Windchill. The role requires a strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles, along with expertise in bug reporting and tracking processes. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through various testing methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
• Report and track bugs using tools such as FogBugz, JIRA, and Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software performance.
• Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) processes.
• Utilize QA automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• Experience with Windchill or other PLM software.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Thorough understanding of bug reporting and the bug life cycle.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like FogBugz, JIRA, and Bugzilla.
• Experience with QA automation tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
