About the position
The Window & Door Installer position at MCKINLEY involves the installation of windows and doors for various replacement projects. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in the installation process, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The installer will be responsible for both the fitting and removal of windows and doors, as well as maintaining effective communication with customers and team leadership throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Fitting windows into the correct location, ensuring they are level and weather-tight.
- Removing old windows, doors, and frames.
- Taking accurate measurements for installations.
- Safely using power tools in a correct manner.
- Transporting products and supplies to and from job sites.
- Cleaning the job site after installations.
- Communicating with customers and leadership through written and verbal communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in window installation, preferably in the residential and/or commercial industry.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to take photos using a mobile device or camera.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have your own truck and trailer.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
