About the position

The Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer is responsible for reviewing and analyzing system security reports to identify potential compliance violations on Windows operating systems. This role involves developing and implementing remediation plans to ensure systems meet security benchmarks and regulatory requirements. The engineer must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities to document procedures and collaborate with system administrators.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system security reports to identify and address compliance violations on Windows operating systems.
• Develop, document, and implement remediation plans to resolve compliance findings, ensuring systems meet security benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with system administrators and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of remediation efforts.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for compliance issues and troubleshoot complex system security concerns.
• Stay updated on compliance frameworks and security standards to proactively address potential compliance risks.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of remediation procedures and compliance actions.
• Utilize PowerShell, Python, and Linux shell scripting for automation and efficiency in compliance tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Active Directory and Windows administration/troubleshooting/security
• 5+ years working in security implementations for Windows
• Good understanding of PowerShell and Linux shell scripting (e.g., Python)
• Ideally 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in relevant roles.
