About the position

The Windows System Engineer role involves the administration and support of Windows Server environments, focusing on maintaining, configuring, and upgrading hardware and software to ensure optimal network and server performance. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service while documenting processes and delivering knowledge transfer sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) including updates, file sharing, and patching.
  • Install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and administer hardware and software for network and server administration.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues across multiple technology domains for customers.
  • Provide documentation to BWC teams and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Recommend automated approaches for implementing specific tasks where possible.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Script in PowerShell for automation and task execution.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience designing and administering Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • 5 years of working experience in SCCM, Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • 5 years of working experience with multi-tiered applications running on Windows.
  • 5 years of working experience with PowerShell.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Power BI and Cloud technologies.
