About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in windshield repair and replacement, with expertise in areas such as R&I, chip repair, and glass installation. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, while ensuring that vehicles are repaired to the highest standards and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on various automotive glass components, including windshields, back glass, quarter glass, and moon roofs.
• Install and repair auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues and develop effective repair solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and timelines.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto glass repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
• Previous experience working in a dealership or similar environment is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record.
