About the position

We are a New York/New Jersey based wine importer and distributor representing over 70 family-owned wineries from various regions including Spain, Italy, France, Chile, Argentina, and the United States. Our philosophy centers around the belief that wine should be enjoyed, not just revered. We embrace a culture that values adventure, exploration, and the joy of sharing wine with friends and family, rather than adhering to the formal rituals often associated with winemaking and drinking. We are looking for a passionate and honest wine professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to our company's growth. The ideal candidate will be self-managed and possess excellent customer service skills. While existing experience and a network of contacts in the wine industry are advantageous, we are open to candidates who may not have sold wine before but believe they have the necessary skill set and are eager to take on the challenge. A strong knowledge of wine regions, particularly Italy, France, and Spain, is essential. This position requires the ability to carry and lift up to 45 lbs, as well as engage in bending, sitting, and walking. Proven sales experience is preferred, and candidates should be computer literate. Compensation will be based on sales commission with an initial guarantee, along with various benefits that enhance the overall employment experience.
