The Wine & Spirits Sales Associate at Twin Liquors is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and promoting a wide selection of fine wines and premium spirits. The position involves engaging with customers, ensuring store operations run smoothly, and maintaining product displays while adhering to responsible alcohol service regulations. Responsibilities

  • Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with local and state laws, including identification verification and intoxication prevention.
  • Assist in all aspects of store operations, focusing on cleanliness, product displays, signage quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products and collaborating with co-workers to provide excellent sales service.
  • Maintain awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming trends.
  • Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution.
  • Communicate regularly with Store Team Leaders regarding proper store operations.
  • Operate POS, make change, and accurately conduct credit card transactions, accounting for all monies at the end of each shift.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and questions, requesting assistance when necessary, including answering the store phone system.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are correct and maintain accuracy in making change.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong knowledge of company policies, goals, and standards.
  • Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience and provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.
  • Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of products and services.
  • Demonstrate creativity in promoting sales, merchandising, and/or marketing.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks without necessary supervision.
  • Problem-solving skills, especially in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looking for ways to improve and promote quality.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in retail, bartending, or restaurant settings.
