About the position

The Winery Marketing Specialist at Gloria Ferrer plays a vital role in supporting the marketing team by executing campaigns, managing communications, and maintaining marketing materials. This position involves coordinating daily marketing tasks, tracking campaign performance, and ensuring timely delivery of marketing assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a background in digital marketing, content creation, or data analysis, contributing to the overall marketing strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and collateral.
  • Maintain and update marketing calendars, tracking all campaign deadlines and deliverables.
  • Help create and distribute marketing content, including emails, social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and wine club activities.
  • Support the execution of paid media campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social ads).
  • Collect and analyze data on campaign performance, using tools like Google Analytics, CRM, and social media insights.
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations for improving marketing strategies based on data analysis.
  • Assist with managing the company's content management system (CMS), uploading and organizing content for web pages and social.
  • Help proofread and ensure consistency in tone and branding across all content.
  • Manage the organization and storage of marketing collateral, such as brochures, graphics, and videos.
  • Help coordinate marketing events such as Instagram Live, sponsorships, and wine club activities.
  • Assist with logistics, promotion, and registration management for virtual and in-person events.
  • Prepare marketing materials and swag for events, ensuring all items are on-brand and delivered on time.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact between external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth communication within the marketing team and across other departments.
  • Support the social media team by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and assisting with content creation.
  • Respond to social media inquiries, monitor brand mentions, and escalate issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Assist with email marketing efforts, including list management, testing, and deployment of email campaigns.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive brand image.
  • Assist with updating brand assets, such as logos, style guides, and presentation templates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Two plus years of winery experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Cloud Based applications including Klaviyo, Canva, Adobe, Google, and Meta.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively read, write, and work with data and technology.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid CA driver's license.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Benefits

  • $30 - $36 per hour plus KPI bonus.
