About the position

The Wing Operations Center System Administrator serves as the Wing Dalink Network Officer, security advisor, facilities/equipment specialist, and Wing Link Unit Manager for the 97 AMW Mission Planning Center operations. This role is critical for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and configuration of the air dalink architecture, providing technical expertise and guidance to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert/advisor on operation, maintenance, and equipment configuration of the air dalink architecture.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Manage Ground Control Intercept and Surface Air Defense Integration.
• Sustain dalink capability and ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent, including knowledge of Joint Data Network Officer concepts and systems.
• Ability to research and solve interoperability problems with complex interactions.
• Extensive knowledge of military command structures and tactical operations.
